In this time of mass disconnection from the ancestral and traditional ways, we aim to provide a resource of connection- a pathway in which to return to our shared humanity and to our original Mother: the Earth.

This project was birthed in honor of the hands that nurture the olive trees in Palestine. We write for the ancient ones of humankind and the plant kingdom who’ve sustained the richness of community, culture and life itself. We acknowledge our shared responsibility as humans to preserve fading traditions, thus we have woven together medicine and mythos of prominent plants from across the Mediterranean.

The power of food sovereignty cannot be overstated - especially within the dynamics of colonialism, ecocide, apartheid, and genocide. With food insecurity and forced starvation as a looming reality in Palestine, it is essential to support Palestinian farmers who are growing food as an act of resistance.
